Steps

  1. Pit and remove the flesh from the longan, wash twice with water, soak in a bowl for 10 minutes
  2. Wash the red dates twice with water, soak in a bowl for 10 minutes
  3. Add sticky rice to the rice cooker, rinse twice with water, then add 2000ml of water
  4. Add the longan and red dates to the rice cooker
  5. Turn on the rice cooker to the 'Cook' mode, the congee will be ready in 1 hour
